As a natural therapist, I take a holistic approach, looking at what is happening for you on all levels- physically, mentally, emotionally and environmentally. In total, I look at your lifestyle and its role in your health and wellbeing. This includes looking at triggers and maintaining causes of stress and disease, physical and /or emotional. My role is to help you bring balance to any apparent problems you have, and additionally, to offer preventative guidance.
We all know the benefits of a good diet, plenty of exercise, sleep etc, however, sometimes we just cannot find the mental space, time or physical energy to implement positive changes in our lives.
My aim to help support you reach the goals you wish to achieve, through the process of making positive choices that will enhance your well being and reduce your stress levels. During this process, I offer practical support, dietary advice, corrective and supplementary nutritional supplementation, stress management, and counselling.
As a Clinical Nutritionist and Counsellor, my interest lies not only in your social, relational and specific triggering causes for your current difficulties, but also the physical and biochemical causes that once addressed may rid your body of obstacles to wellness and lead to a vitality and balance- physically, mentally and emotionally.
As a Clinical Nutritionist, I have been required to complete at least 4 years of study, including Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Symptomatology, Pathology and Diagnosis, Nutritional influences on illness, Nutrient and drug interactions and Allergies, to name but a few.
As a professional member of the regulating body, The Australian Traditional Medical Society, I am bound by a professional code of ethics and a commitment to the continuation of ongoing education, to maintain cutting- edge knowledge of the latest scientific research.

I assess you to determine nutritional imbalances or systemic weaknesses, using functional pathology tests, general pathology tests and naturopathic practices. Additionally, I incorporate evidence based practices such as questionnaires.

I counsel you and provide educational material to assist you in understanding the nature of the imbalance or area of weakness, defining goals and developing realistic nutritional and lifestyle programs. I specialize in lifestyle counselling for diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
I work with you to design targeted nutritional and lifestyle programs that may include the use of specific foods, menu planning, environmental controls, food preparation techniques, dietary supplements, homeopathic’s, and/or lifestyle modifications that will support the achievement of the clients health goals.
